"I really love people around me, my big dream is to make a big happy family, and be a big doctor!" These were words of a sophomore student journalist Alan Brown, but why would a person who wants to be a doctor study Journalism?? Well, Brown thinks Journalism can give people more access to information, and by studying it, he can make a difference expressing his opinion that will help people understand in what they believe and what they should believe.
At his High School, Brown did a Video Broadcast, he was a video maker. He wants to learn here in KJI many ways to use the Internet to publicize news at his school, for him, journalism give more accessbile to people. So this camp will help him to be a better communicator.
Alan is intersted in visual things too, like, blue, red and dark colors sends his attetion out.
Marina,
ReplyDeleteI get some good insight into Alan and his life through this piece. The only thing I'd like to see more of is some of the characteristics of 300-word features such as alliteration, repetition and short sentences.
I also think it's not quite at 300 words. It's well-written. It's just not quite a 300-word feature.
Thanks for sharing it.
Rod
Also, you seem to be missing your Storify. Is that at a different link you can share with me?
